Delivers and sets up respiratory
equipment for Apria patients.
Conducts downloads of recording devices
such as apnea monitors, oximeters, CPAP
devices, and other respiratory
equipment.
Performs functional tests on certain
respiratory equipment as required by
branch.
Instructs patients on the basic use of
their self-administration of respiratory
equipment, as approved by local and
state licensure limitations.
Ensures that patients understand the
proper operation and maintenance of the
equipment.
Conducts appropriate patient follow-up
contacts. Responds to emergency calls on
an on-call basis with clinical backup.
Prepares and maintains a record for each
patient containing all pertinent patient
information, care plans, physician
prescriptions and follow-up
documentation.
Consults with respiratory care
practitioner regarding patient
treatment, medical condition and home
environment.
Performs other related duties as
directed by supervisor.
Qualifications
Education or experience equivalent to a
high school diploma is required.
At least one year related experience is
required.
Must possess a valid and current
driver\'s license and auto insurance.
Additional Requirements:
Experience Level: 5-7 Years,
Work Authorization: US Citizens Security Clearance Green Card EAD/TN H1b (work permit)
